Both Save the Children and Stop Child Labour have an extensive track record working on the issue of child labour in India. By joining forces, we can improve and strengthen the impact of our work. In all regions the cooperation contributes to the strengthening of all partners. By linking and learning from the different fields of expertise, all partners benefit. By combining the different strategies used by the Alliance partners, we contribute in a more integrated way to ending child labour in India.

Our area-based approach is based on the successful practice of MVFoundation. MVFoundation tackles child labour where it occurs and brings sustainable change to communities resulting in creation of child labour free zones.

Fakirana Sisters and Nav Jagritti have a lot of experience in creating Child Labour Free Zones.

Manjari and ARAVALI has extensive experience in creating Child Labour Free Zones, and has an extensive network at state level with government, NGOs, CSO, Trade Unions. It is involved in State Forum on Natural Stone and it has great experience in involving (local/domestic) business in CLFZ.

Teachers’ Union AIPTF has extensive experience of training of teachers, knowledge on workers’ rights and quality education.

Arisa has an extensive network of contacts with CSO/ NGOs, MSIs and trade unions, and extensive experience in research, together with local researchers, international lobby and advocacy and human rights issues in India, related to international supply chains with a focus on natural stone and garment sector in India and the Netherlands

ICCO India has extensive experience in implementing Child Labour Free Zones, and in addressing child labour and promoting responsible business.
