In 2023, IKEA’s supplier Woodsland Tuyen Quang Joint Stock Company embarked on a young worker development programme to give young people access to decent work. The programme supports vulnerable groups, ensuring children’s rights align with the UN Sustainable Development Goals, particularly to combat child labour in Vietnam. It supports young workers (aged 15 to under 18) at risk of informal or hazardous work by providing opportunities for skill development and access to decent jobs. This programme is part of WNCB and implemented by The Centre for Child Rights and Business in Vietnam.
