Child Labour Webinar
Target 8.7 of the Sustainable Development Goals aims to end child labour in all its forms by 2025. Despite significant progress over the past decades, the socio-economic impact of the COVID-19 pandemic has increased the risk of child labour. With just four years left to reach our target and given that 2021 is the International Year for the Elimination of Child Labour, it’s time to reinvigorate action.
Together with Alliance 8.7 we would now like to invite you to a webinar on the role of local businesses in area-based approaches.
The webinar will take place on Tuesday 25 May, 15:00-16:30 CEST.
Together, we will answer the following questions:
- What is behind the success of area-based approaches to ending child labour?
- What role can local businesses play?
- What are the barriers to involvement and how can these be overcome?
- What policy frameworks are helpful?
- What works on the ground and what does not?
- Where can I access useful tools and resources?
Expert panelists will discuss the above and answer your questions.
