The much-awaited WNCB-IIC photo exhibition ‘Life in the Shadows’ by Chitvan Gill was inaugurated by Mr Insaf Nizam from the ILO on July 1st 2022 with great footfall. Representatives of civil society, journalists, academicians, bureaucrats, professors and students of different universities were part of the event.

The print published an article about the photographer and her work. “In Chitvan Gill’s frames, there are stories—of child labour, suffering and pandemic. What stands out in Gill’s work is the sense of humanity with which she treats her subjects—the children and their families.”
