For each country in which the WNCB programme works, annotated bibliographies have been produced. Based on these bibliographies of over 293 academic sources and the experience within the WNCB programme, the WNCB has produced a document with recommendations for further (academic) research. From the annotated bibliographies it is clear that much more academic and practical research is needed to not only unravel the prevalence of child labour but to also understand the underlying dynamics and strategies to address these. The eradication of child labour doesn’t have to wait before poverty is eradicated!
