The programme for Jordan builds on the complementary expertise of UNICEF and Save the Children with the protection of children. UNICEF, through its advocacy and convening power for promoting child rights at global and local levels, has been playing a leadership role in the systems strengthening of child protection in Jordan. Save the Children Jordan, as a member of the global Save the Children movement, has been dedicated to bringing change for the most marginalized children in the country. While both organizations bring their own comparative advantages and vision, this partnership brings about an opportunity to maximize synergies.
