UNICEF and Save the Children have been pioneers in promoting child rights and have specifically focused on support to and protection of the most marginalised and vulnerable children in Vietnam for decades. Specific to child labour and youth employability, UNICEF and Save the Children have launched the Children’s Rights and Business Principles (CRBP), which is also reinforced by the work that UNICEF has been doing with factories in southern Vietnam. UNICEF and Save the Children’s combined experience and influence is instrumental in achieving the programme’s advocacy goals at district, provincial and national levels across all outcomes.
The supporting partner ICCO is a global partner of the Stop Child labour Alliance. ICCO is part of a network working in the rice sector in the region of Dong Thap.
